Accessibility Statement

Monti Institute of Neuro Aesthetics is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually work to improve the experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards. Effective Date: [Month Day, Year]. Last Reviewed: [Month Day, Year].

1 Our Commitment

We believe our website and the care we provide should be accessible to everyone, including people with visual, auditory, motor, cognitive, or light-sensitivity related conditions (such as migraine). Accessibility is treated as an ongoing responsibility, not a one-time project — we periodically audit this site and correct issues as they're identified.

2 Conformance Status

This website is designed and built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the widely accepted standard for measuring digital accessibility. WCAG conformance is assessed in three levels: A, AA, and AAA. We target Level AA across the site.

This statement describes our current conformance status as of the "Last Reviewed" date above. Accessibility is an ongoing effort; while we aim for full AA conformance, some areas of the site — particularly third-party embedded tools — may not yet be fully conformant. See Section 4 below.

3 Accessibility Features Implemented

The following features are built into this website:

  • Skip-to-content link — allows keyboard and screen-reader users to bypass repeated navigation and jump directly to page content.
  • Full keyboard navigation — all interactive elements, including the navigation menu, dropdown menus, and forms, are operable without a mouse, with visible focus indicators on every focusable element.
  • Semantic structure & ARIA landmarks — pages use proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions (nav, main, footer), and ARIA attributes (aria-expanded, aria-current, aria-label) to support screen readers.
  • Descriptive alt text — meaningful images include descriptive alternative text; decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
  • Color contrast — text and interactive elements are designed to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and UI components).
  • Migraine Mode — a low-glare, warm-toned dark theme intended to reduce visual strain for light-sensitive and migraine-prone visitors, available via the toggle in the navigation bar or the Alt+D keyboard shortcut, and remembered across visits.
  • Reduced motion support — visitors with prefers-reduced-motion enabled at the system level will see animations and scroll effects minimized or removed automatically.
  • Accessible form validation — form fields are linked to their error messages via aria-describedby, invalid fields are marked with aria-invalid, and focus moves automatically to the first error on submission.
  • Responsive, zoom-friendly layout — content reflows properly up to 400% browser zoom without loss of functionality.

4 Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible:

  • Third-party embedded tools — our live chat widget and any third-party scheduling overlay are provided by outside vendors. While we choose vendors with accessibility in mind, we do not control their code directly and cannot guarantee full conformance of embedded third-party components.
  • PDF and downloadable documents — older documents may not yet be fully tagged for screen-reader compatibility. We are working to remediate these on an ongoing basis.
  • Legacy or archived content — pages retained for historical reference may not reflect current accessibility standards.

If you encounter a barrier not listed here, please let us know using the contact information in Section 5 — we want to know about it.
